Dr Sameer Nakedar (MBBS, MRCGP) is a fully medically qualified GP. He is a fully registered with the GMC (General Medical Council), since 2010.
Dr Nakedar obtained his first medical degree in the renowned Bart’s and the London Medical School (University of London). Following this he completed his Foundation training in Leicester having had experience in many areas of medicine and surgery, including transplant surgery, chemical pathology, stroke and cardiovascular medicine. Following this, Dr Nakedar spent some years in speciality training with substantial training and experience in both elective and trauma sectors of orthopaedics. He has also had experience in general surgery. Following this, Dr Nakedar underwent further training in General Practise, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, Genitourinary medicine, general medicine. He completed his speciality training in Leicestershire and was achieved membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) following this. Dr Nakedar is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
During his career so far, Dr Nakedar has also been involved in research and clinical governance work and has presented some of his work and local, regional and international level, including Turkey and the USA.
Dr Nakedar also partakes in medicolegal work. He has a particular interest in gastroenterology and travel claims and is a reader and subscriber of the GUT journal, published by the BMJ. He is also a member of The Primary Care Society for Gastroenterology.
